I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor providing therapy services to adults and adolescents in Lake and Ashtabula Counties through Matt McKee Counseling Services, LLC. I have over 15 years experience in helping roles. In my practice, I embrace a Cognitive Behavioral Treatment (CBT) approach, offer Christian Counseling, and provide EMDR Therapy. Services include individual, couples, and family therapy for depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, addictions, as well as other concerns. I am a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, the EMDR International Association, and a U.S. Army Veteran.
As a graduate of Liberty University's Master of Arts in Professional Counseling, I embrace a Christian worldview in all that I do. However, I do not push my values nor judge anyone based upon my background. I do believe that this worldview allows a hope-focused approach to all of my services.
