I'm Matt Grimm, a dedicated mental health counselor with a diverse and eclectic approach to therapy, tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. My practice is rooted in Humanistic and Post Modern approaches, which guide my work with a deep sense of empathy and a belief in the power of personal narrative and self-discovery. I also draw on a strong foundation in cognitive and behavioral techniques, providing a well-rounded perspective that integrates various therapeutic strategies.
I am on the alternative training track to become a Registered Drama Therapist, which allows me to incorporate creative and expressive methods into our work together. This creative approach can offer new perspectives and enhance the therapeutic process. I am an EMDR Basic Trained Therapist In Training, which will further expand my ability to support clients.
I work with a wide range of clients, from children to adults, and offer support through individual, family, couples, and group therapy settings. My goal is to create a supportive and empowering environment where clients can explore their challenges, build on their strengths, and achieve their personal goals.
