Hello, my name is Matthew Dyer. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor. Prior to becoming a counselor I served in the US Marine Corps Infantry. This gives me a unique perspective when serving our first responder and veteran populations. My specialties include treating trauma and post traumatic stress disorder and any other symptoms associated to these invisible wounds.
I have experience working with adults in many settings ranging from private practice, community mental health, and secure care settings. I bring humor and a motivating personality into session. I utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) among many other therapeutic modalities in session.
