Hello, I am a therapist and clinical supervisor with over 30 years of experience working with adults, adolescents, couples and families throughout the life cycle. My specialties include: life stage transition, couples counseling, parenting challenging teens, depression, anxiety, identity issues, substance abuse, attachment and adjustment to a new normal after a medical diagnosis. I also provide clinical supervision to interns who are working toward their LPC and LMFT licenses, and 'supervision of supervision' for new supervisors.
As a clinician, it is my strong belief that good therapists become great through deep familiarity with how counter transference phenomena manifest. Sometimes this is best done through clinical supervison; sometimes, the best way is through individual psychotherapy of the therapist. I provide both services, but not to the same client at the same time.
I do not accept insurance but am happy to provide you with a 'superbill' that you can submit to your carrier for reimbursement.
