I am a mature psychotherapist who works with a diverse clientele. I have training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), mindfulness practices, and advanced psychoanalytic psychotherapy with adults, adolescents, children, families, and couples. I teach and provide supervision to new and seasoned therapists.
I bring to every clinical encounter an interdisciplinary educational and professional background. I hold a BA in Philosophy with Honors from SUNY Albany, an MA/PhD in English Literature from Northwestern University, and an MSSW from Columbia University. Additionally, I served for over a decade as a university professor in the humanities.
