As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the states of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, I have the privilege of working with folks across the board. No matter what your concerns are, I believe in prioritizing your goals. In my experience, when someone sets their own goals, there is a high likelihood of meeting those goals than when another person sets them. I have reverence for your experiences; they are unique to you, and I honor that uniqueness.
If it helps, I attained my MSW from Rhode Island College. I am a veteran, which adds to the richness of my expertise. I have extensive experience working with individuals with mental health conditions, substances use, Trauma, and severe mental illness. Case management, crisis intervention, and overcoming adversity are some of my many strengths.
I believe in the biopsychosocial model and believes that every person is a unique individual. As such, I tailor treatment to individual needs, I integrate psycho education and an eclectic mix of psychotherapy modalities including supportive therapy, CBT, modified DBT, MI, SFBT and Trauma focused.
