With over 25 years of experience in Christian ministry, Matthew has recently transitioned to counsel in the private practice setting. He is passionately pursuing the goal of helping others heal from past hurts, find freedom in areas of struggle, grow in confidence, and thrive in life and relationships. He has provided counseling for individuals, families, and groups in church settings, private practices, a psychiatric hospital, and an outpatient mental health facility. He has been married for 20 years and is a father to 5 children.
Matthew is prepared to help you navigate the waters of stress, anxiety, trauma, grief, depression, and parenting issues. He is fully trained in EMDR. He counsels individuals and families.
Matthew loves being able to come alongside people from all walks of life and help them grow into the unique and wonderful individuals they were made to be. His Christian faith inspires and fuels his desire to encourage and care for others. He is happy to incorporate scripture and prayer in the counseling process upon request.
