Hello and welcome. My name is Matt Stella, and my goal is to reconnect you to the wisdom and depth in your life that make all problems workable. In fact, the worst symptoms and problems that we wrestle with often hold the seed for growth and transformation. Working with adults, couples, and men's groups, my life’s work is to facilitate transformation out of all forms of suffering. Part of my work is to serve male survivors of sexual abuse or assault. (See MenHealing.org) When needed, I use EMDR to address and heal the effects of trauma, abuse and neglect for adults of all genders.
I also offer Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy within legal parameters. Ask about my waitlist. My 2nd Masters degree is in Process Work: a Jungian holistic method (mind-body-spirit). This approach is my passion because it offers a way of delving into the 'trouble' at hand that is deep, efficient, transformational and surprisingly creative and fun.
My practice is LGBTQ-affirmative, and welcomes diversity of all kinds. I provide telehealth options, or in-person sessions in my Salem office which is wheelchair accessible. If you feel we might be a good fit, please be in touch. I will be honored to help.
