About
The process of seeking and making the decision to come to counseling can be a challenging one. Through a warm and caring approach, my hope is to ease some of these concerns around starting our work together in order to build a strong therapeutic relationship that will aid you in progressing towards your goals. Since each person is unique, I strive to collaborate in a way that best meets your presenting concerns and goals for therapy, acknowledging the barriers that can impede you from being the person you’ve been wanting to be. I offer both 60 and 90 minute sessions.
I aspire to help with aspects of your life that may not be going as well as you’d like. I view myself as a generalist - working with clients on the different challenges that they are experiencing and making sure that each client’s individual needs are met. I ensure this by integrating person-centered, mindfulness, CBT, and multicultural orientations.
I predominantly work with adult and college-aged women and men on issues surrounding anxiety, depression, social anxiety, anger, self-esteem, as well as am trained in sports and performance psychology. Advocating for yourself by going to therapy can be an important step in gaining balance in your life and I hope to have that opportunity to do so with you.
