I am an LPC in the state of Virginia and a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT). I mindfully approach behavioral and mental health treatment with integrative consideration for clients as physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and social beings, and empower them to pursue and achieve goals through evidence-based treatment modalities, problem-relevant resources and consistent therapeutic care. I have experience working with sex/pornography addiction, behavioral disorders, anxiety, and spiritual bypass/trauma.
I have served my local community in various forms over the past decade and have been in the mental health field since 2019. My primary focus in treatment is sex and pornography addiction where I utilize Carnes' 30 Task Model to help clients break through denial and shame, build awareness, establish self-accountability and healthy sexual recovery.
I provide in-person and Telehealth services. I understand that initiating sex addiction counseling can be uncomfortable You can expect the initial session to be used to determine if my form of treatment is right for you, and if so, begin building a working therapeutic alliance.
