About
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a certified DBT Therapist who works exclusively with the parents of adolescents who struggle with mental illness; substance abuse; relationship distress; impulsive behaviors including suicidal and self-injurious behavior; and assisting those parents in setting limits and boundaries with their adolescents . My therapeutic approach is to use solution focused therapy techniques, mindfulness and DBT skills when applicable. I work with adolescents who have graduated from RTC/PHP/IOP.
My aim is to work closely with adolescents and families to address the problems they face.My focus is to help my clients develop and implement, practical and applicable skills that allow them to transition from a destructive life into one that is inline with their personal goals and values.
I offer individual psychotherapy and phone coaching. I believe in beginning with the end in mind so shortly after our first meeting we will begin to develop a practical comprehensive plan that will point you in a direction towards meeting your goals.
