I have worked with a diverse array of clients, including teens, young adults, couples, children, and a wide array of professionals including doctors, therapists, musicians, athletes and CEO’s from a variety of industries. I have experience with people of various ages, cultures, religious backgrounds, diagnoses, sexualities and gender identities. I have more than 25 years working in nonprofit agencies, inpatient and outpatient hospital settings, camps, rehabilitation programs and residential children's homes. I believe the most effective approach will incorporate your personal experiences and the lens you view the world through.
I aim to provide a setting where clients feels safe, supported, challenged and encouraged. I do this by listening to you and helping you to tell your story, identify needs and set goals. Together, we will develop a plan to meet those needs. My approach is an eclectic mix of therapy styles to provide you the tools you need and to help you learn. I offer EMDR.
I recognize that making the decision to start therapy can be difficult. Deciding on a therapist you feel comfortable working with can be an even harder decision. I'd love to visit with you and talk about how I can help you with your challenges and goals. Please don't hesitate to reach out.
