Through my experience as a therapist in the mental health field, I've come to believe that change occurs through gaining insight into our own thinking processes. When we begin to learn more about our thinking patterns, which generally arise from past experiences, we begin to change the way we feel. The therapeutic journey begins by identifying reoccurring themes. The process continues by coaching you to master your triggers and develop counter actions. It is through this process that you will be empowered to handle your life problems with more ease.
I offer a variety of skills and specialities in areas of anxiety, anger, OCD, life transitions, relationship issues and mood disorders. My areas of expertise are in OCD treatment and anger management. I have been providing outpatient therapy for many years and also run a “12 Steps to Anger Management” group program at Transitions.
I have a cognitive behavioral therapy approach incorporating motivational interviewing and a strength based perspective. I practice Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Exposure Response Prevention. My approach is skills based, you will leave my office with concrete skills to practice for tangible results! I work with older adolescents and adults.

If anger has caused trouble in your relationship or you find yourself getting easily angry, then this workshop is for you! I want you to feel better about yourself and your relationships. Join this 12 week series for techniques and skills to change your automatic anger response and learn to take charge of your anger! Topics covered: self awareness, identifying your fears, exploring and investing in change, identifying thinking errors, communicating needs, forgiveness, as well as positive thinking and being in the present. This workshop will teach you concrete skills to improve relationships with yourself, family, friends and work. ***ACCEPTING NEW VIRTUAL CLIENTS***
