After serving the Northern Virginia area for the last 23 years in prominent agency and home based counseling settings, I have established myself as a successful psychotherapist. While using a Cognitive Behavioral and Brief Therapy Approach, I am able to help individuals experiencing depressed moods, anxiety issues, anger management issues, loss/ grief, PTSD, abuse and relationship issues.
With couples, I specialize in working with communication, separation and divorce issues. Also, I like to work with teens and children diagnosed with attachment issues, conduct disorder, oppositional defiant, PTSD, abuse, depressed mood, anxiety and general behavior related issues.
I have helped hundreds of families and their children create a more healthy and happy home environment. With specialized training in attachment work, I have helped families with adopted children overcome many obstacles involved with transitioning a child into a new family.
