Many of us are functioning on the outside but overwhelmed internally. You look capable and strong to others while privately dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic stress, or long-term illness. I work with mature teens and adults who want focused, meaningful change. My approach is direct and practical while still making room for honest emotional work and experiential healing. I also have experience working with Deaf individuals and Children of Deaf Adults (CODAs). As a CODA I understand the cultural and identity layers often missed in traditional therapy for Deaf, CODA, and hearing family members in the Deaf community.
My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Flash-based trauma reprocessing with existential and meaning-making perspectives. CBT helps challenge thinking patterns while EMDR and Flash reduce the emotional charge of painful experiences, empowering you to make real movement forward.
Our work will be collaborative and holistic. We build tools, address root patterns, and increase psychological, sociological, biological and sometimes even spiritual stability so you can move through life with greater clarity and resilience.
I provide services in both spoken English and American Sign Language.
