I enjoy working with people of all ages who are interested in finding meaning in and making peace with their lives. My high school English teacher left two indelible ideas in my head, a quote from Socrates "The unexamined life is not worth living" and the Latin question "Quo Vadis?" or "Where are you going?". Since then, I have not only held this sense of curiosity for my own journey but practiced the profession in which I get to be present with other people as they embrace curiosity for their own lives, face their challenges, losses and changes, heal their wounds, and find their directions.

You’re good at so many things, but you struggle in relationships, with confidence in who you are, or managing grief. Therapy will help you tap into your natural ability for deep connection, inner strength, and healing. Perhaps in Relationships- you struggle with communication, boundaries, or you keep getting stuck in the same patterns? In Identity- you know your worth, but have trouble with your self-esteem? In Grief- you get overwhelmed, and don’t know where to start to feel better? You're ready to master relationships, heal, and be unapologetically yourself.

I believe that everyone deserves to be heard, regardless of their background or circumstances. Whether you are struggling with excessive worry or negative thoughts, overwhelmed by schoolwork as a student, supporting a family member with autism or developmental disability, or facing challenges as a member of a marginalized group in society, it is common to feel hopeless and worthless at times. However, you do not have to give in to these feelings. Together, we will overcome obstacles by empowering you, developing strategies for managing negative feelings, improving your self-identity, and gaining a deeper understanding of yourself.

As a professional and multicultural individual who has lived in several countries, I understand the profound impact of living and working outside one's own culture, often without the familiar support of family and friends. Whether you're facing relationship difficulties, anxiety, health challenges, or navigating neurodiversity, I provide a safe and affirming space for people from all walks of life, including individuals who identify as LGBTQ+. Together, let's embark on a journey of healing and growth.

You work hard to keep it all together on the outside, so people often don't know when you feel shaky and exhausted inside. It's true you've achieved a lot in your life, but that doesn't stop you from feeling you don't belong, aren't enough. It may feel like anxiety, low self-esteem, and codependency have been a part of your life for as long as you can remember. One thing is sure: you’re ready for relief. You’re ready to connect with a sense of ease and belonging so you can enjoy the success you've earned. You're ready to let your whole messy, complicated, beautiful self be known and loved in close, lasting relationships. I can help.

Do you ever feel like your voice doesn't matter? That you're "too much" or your feelings aren't valid? That you are unloveable? What if you woke up one day and believed that you were ENOUGH? We know life’s obstacles are unlikely to go away all together, but what if you could TRUST your ability to navigate them with more ease, curiosity and self-compassion? When there is a pattern of unwanted feelings, beliefs or behaviors developed from past trauma, EMDR is one way we can help change the lasting impact of those experiences.
