I work collaboratively with my clients to help them gain insight, develop coping strategies, and work towards healing and personal growth. I provide individual therapy primarily for adults. I specialize in minority issues (being treated like others), intergenerational trauma, cross-cultural and inter-racial relationships. I incorporate humor to uplift your spirit and create a positive atmosphere.
I am a first-generation immigrant to the United States, having moved as an adult from Japan. As a bilingual - fluent in both English and Japanese, I have a deep understanding of the challenges and complexities that can arise in multicultural and minority communities, and I am dedicated to providing culturally sensitive and inclusive therapy.
I am passionate about helping my clients navigate life's challenges and find meaning and fulfillment in their lives.
