I have been working with clients who have had trauma throughout their life. Their symptoms are anxiety, depression, panic attacks, negative self-talk, rumination, and unhealthy relations. We work on establishing where these thoughts, ideas, and behaviors stem from and how to make healthy changes in every area of their lives. I focus on their chosen words and the negative self-talk perpetuating these symptoms.
I believe therapy should be a safe place for people to build trust with their therapist. Clients need to feel heard, not be judged, and have an empathetic therapist who allows them to work through their issues in their own time. I am a guide and feel grateful for every client I work with.
We all carry our own hardships, traumas, and difficulties in life and as a therapist, it provides me with greater understanding and empathy. I believe we each carry strength, resiliency, and a determination to find peace and happiness. I would feel honored to share this small part of your journey with you.
