I specialize in treating trauma, relationship issues, and helping people find a greater self image. I believe that one of the broad purposes of therapy is integration with self. This might require a focus on strengthening interpersonal skills, processing trauma, building a more secure sense of self, etc. Sometimes, as progress is made on an initial goal, other areas that need care and exploration are discovered. My aim is to offer you tools to strengthen your sense of empowerment in navigating and building the life you want.
I find value in a person-centered, insight-oriented approach. I also take a somewhat eclectic approach in which modalities I use so to best adapt to your needs and preferences. I primarily work with teens and adults of all identities. I work to create an inclusive and justice oriented practice.
