I am a Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist in Private Practice in South Miami with over 25+ years of experience. I offer a safe, comfortable, private and non-judgmental space for you to restore, recover ,grow, center, ground, heal and accept so you can have a fuller life experience, I have come to understand that healing is best when it comes from a mind-body approach and includes compassion for yourself. Sometimes the way in is through the mind and sometimes through the body both embracing self-awareness so change can happen. Somatic Experiencing (SE) provides a safe and naturalistic approach to promote self-regulation, integration to resolve the debilitating symptoms of trauma and stress. Additional training also includes Eye Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Solution Focused Brief Therapy ), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Mindfulness including useful grounding techniques
My practice combines several modalities that serve each persons individual needs. If self-destructive thinking or behavior and emotions keeps you stuck body- centered modalities like breath-work, SE, and EMDR, can support a richer self-awareness and acceptance for a fuller sense of aliveness resulting in changes that you been trying to do for a long time.
