About
Pain, loss and stress are a part of every life. The good news is you CAN heal. We all have strengths and wisdom. I believe in your ability to heal and solve problems. Together we can find solutions and relief for your concerns and difficult life circumstances. I’ve been in private practice for 20 years and have worked with folks from different ethnic and racial groups, socio economic circumstances, all genders and sexual orientations, immigration status, and religious beliefs. I'm very experienced in trans-friendly psychotherapy and assessment and am a certified mediation instructor. I provide interfaith spiritual direction.
Compassionate talk therapy can assist you to navigate repercussions from trauma and abuse; depression; anxiety; relationship or work concerns; chronic or acute illness; life transitions; addictive behaviors; grief from suicide, accidents or illness or a gender transition. I provide body-centered approaches too: qigong, breathing techniques and meditation.
If you are seeking individual therapy, couples counseling, or family therapy; short-term focused work or long-term exploration I believe that we can work together in a way that will be helpful to you and that honors who you are and how you heal. And you can get lots of love from my therapy dog Rainbow who is waiting to welcome you with a wagging tail!
