I enjoy working with young adults, adults, and older adults. If you are going through a transition (marriage, divorce, new parent, new job or school, new medical diagnosis, etc) I am here to help make it easier for you. Perhaps you feel that past trauma is a barrier to achieving peace of mind and happiness. I have many years of experience helping with trauma recovery. We all suffer from various levels of anxiety and depression-but sometimes it just feels too much to manage. Just bring yourself, some motivation, and an open mind to our table! Sometimes we don't even know "what's missing" and we can figure this out together.
I favor an eclectic, person-centered approach that focuses on each individual's needs. I will help you build a "toolbox" of skills to help you with everyday stressors. Together we will also look at the "bigger picture"—your hopes and dreams—and prepare to write the next chapter of your life. My training includes psychoanalytic Intersubjective Self Psychology
My clients describe me as warm, empathic, easy to relate to and talk to, and genuine. I like to use humor, and to show up as a "real person." I have found telehealth to be particularly comfortable for many clients, where you can express thoughts and feelings in the safety of your own space joining me in mine.
