In my experience, the catharsis of sharing your thoughts and feelings leads to discovering your strengths and deficits. I truly believe that it is upon these strengths that you will build a repertoire of cognitive, emotional, and physical coping skills to improve the quality of your life. Sessions will be individually tailored to your needs and goals, whether it be developing skills to combat current issues, processing past trauma, or reexamining overall perspectives.
My approach is holistic and I will familiarize myself with your learning style and adhere to the techniques that work best for you. I will educate you on various treatment techniques so that you can start to build your own therapeutic skills. I offer evening hours and am open to meeting at a frequency that meets your time and budget needs.
I have experience with a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, self harm behavior, PTSD, chemical dependency, and anger management.
