About
You're looking for a therapist and you're wondering if I might be a good fit. It might help to know that I'm a straightforward, perceptive, and non-judgmental practitioner. The therapy I provide is not one-size-fits-all, but instead is collaborative and customized to your specific needs and way of being. I'll ask questions and engage in dialogue with you throughout the process. By providing thoughtful, individual focus to you as you tackle patterns of living that no longer work, we'll discover new areas for growth and healing.
My patients face various challenges, including relationship troubles, traumatic experiences, life transitions, including pregnancy/parenting, questions about gender/sexuality, identity concerns, grief/loss, and physical ailments. I have particular experience with immigrants and first generation Americans, LGBTQQ clients, and tech and creative professionals.
Therapy is a joint effort, and the first sessions will be spent clarifying what it is you are needing help with and learning what feels useful for you. I look forward to speaking with you so that we may take those first steps together. Find me here: www.drmaryzimmerle.com
