My name is Mary Sudyka, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado. I primary use cognitive behavioral therapy in practice but often to pull from other therapy approaches and tailor my approach to my client's needs. I currently work with ages 12 and up with diagnosis ranging from anxiety, depression, post trauma stress disorder, attention deficit disorders, personality disorder, and anyone in the LBGTQIA+ community needing support.
I primarily use cognitive behavioral therapy, client centered, motivational interviewing and solution-focused approaches when working with clients. I am very family system focused and believe people are impacted and influenced by the system they live and interact with.
I like to create a safe, warm and welcoming environment for my clients. As your therapist I will be in your corner both to support you and give you honest and hard truths. I am direct in my approach but will guide you in a gentle way to understand things about yourself and the system in which you exist in.
