Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps you change the way you think and feel about yourself and the world, ultimately changing your responses to situations. Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) helps you learn healthy coping skills and desensitize the effects of traumatic memories.
Trauma comes in a variety of forms such as abuse, death of a loved one, divorce, natural disasters, severe illness, accident or violence.
