About
I specialize in working with children and parents. My services include counseling for children, parent consultation sessions, and psychoeducational evaluations. I worked in schools for 6 years as a school psychologist before beginning my private practice as a licensed educational psychologist in 2016. I have particular expertise in areas such as learning disabilities, autism spectrum, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, and hyperactivity/impulsivity. Please note that I do not accept insurance. UPDATE: My counseling practice is currently full. Please email if you'd like to be on my waitlist. I am accepting new assessment clients.
My counseling practice draws upon CBT and play therapy strategies to create a supportive environment where your child feels valued, heard, and empowered to problem-solve and make positive changes. I value hands-on activities and regular communication with parents. I can use exposure and response prevention therapy (ERP) to help with anxiety and OCD.
My psychoeducational assessments are inspired by firsthand experience working in schools and intimate knowledge of the IEP process. Parent consultations are centered around trusted behavioral concepts and building healthy relationships. I offer a flexible counseling model in which sessions can shift between individual or family sessions as needed.
