I am passionate about supporting clients in learning skills to help manage and overcome their struggles and create a better life for themselves and the ones they love. If you are dealing with anxiety, depression, self-esteem or trauma related issues or have a desire to improve insight and communication skills, I have experience that can be beneficial to you. I believe in a strengths-based perspective and see counseling as a tool by which empowerment, insight, and skills can be gained to improve overall quality of life. My experience includes working in groups, with couples and with individuals using Dialectical Behavior therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral therapy and mindfulness based approaches.
