Are you facing life challenges, hurts, disappointments or losses? I provide empathic listening with each client to understand their story within a supportive therapeutic environment. I strive to identify the client's personal strengths and goals and will recommend strategies, skills, psychoeducation and a treatment plan that can lead to positive changes in life and movement towards healing. I embrace a holistic approach in the treatment process with clients and strive to bring hope and encouragement to each client. I offer compassion and respect for each client and their right to self-determination.
I have 29 years of experience as a counselor. My training includes- MA in Counseling Psychology from Bethel University 1996 and a BA in Social Work from St Catherine's College. I have advanced training in Grief/Loss Counseling and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TFCBT), I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in MN
