I specialize in helping college students and adults who feel like their lives are controlled by OCD or anxiety disorders, including OCD themes that are particularly stigmatized such as sexuality, physical or sexual harm, and pedophilia. As a therapist, I can help you understand what is going on in your mind and identify strategies to move forward towards a more fulfilling life.
My goal is for therapy sessions to be a time when you feel heard and understood, as well as a time that we actively work together on areas of your life that you are not satisfied with. This may be done through learning new skills, practicing new ways of thinking, exposure to things that are scary, or other activities rooted in the modalities listed below.
My therapeutic approach draws from a variety of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Inference Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT).
I will be in-network with Aetna beginning September 1, 2025.
