As a therapist, my goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental, and comfortable environment for my clients. Overall, I use an very authentic, egalitarian, honest, direct, dialogic and relational approach. I focus on the ability of clients to make changes and find freedom in their lives by utilizing their unique potential, accepting personal responsibility, and exploring the meaning in life that they desire. My style stems from my belief that the client's own internal knowledge, strength, and commitment to change is what ultimately holds the power. Relational Gestalt therapy highly informs my clinical work and therapeutic style.
My specialties include Gestalt Therapy, eating disorders, EMDR, anxiety, complex trauma, couples therapy, perinatal mental health (PMH-C), dissociative disorders, and somatic experiencing. I'm a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist & Supervisor (CEDS-S), Certified EMDR Therapist & Approved Consultant, Certified Gestalt Therapist, and Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT).
In my practice, I integrate somatic work to support individuals and groups in reducing symptoms of trauma, anxiety, and depression. As a Certified Yoga Therapist and owner of a trauma-informed yoga studio, I offer nurturing yoga therapy groups and teacher trainings. I'm currently completing certification as a Somatic Experiencing Professional with SEI.
