I believe good therapy creates change, resolves issues, heals emotional wounds, and expands our capacity to cope with life's challenges. Most people come into therapy in pain or in some sort of crises. I work with clients to help them see this crises as an opportunity for personal growth and healing. My style is warm, engaging and direct. I believe that good therapy produces cognitive, behavioral and emotional changes. I work creatively with the strengths of the individual to build a strong, collaborative alliance to help reach stated goals of treatment.
I have had extensive training in couple's therapy, group therapy and dealing with loss. I work with relationship issues, anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief/bereavement. I work with adults, couples, and families. I incorporate mindfulness into my work extensively when appropriate.
I work from an integrative holistic model and have had extensive training in mindfulness techniques. It has been a privilege to provide psychotherapy for over 35 years. I love what I do! Most of my referrals come from other professionals and former clients who know me and trust my work.

Women's Mindful Growth Group,
These groups help women cultivate connection to self and others, mindful self care, and capacity to increase life coping skills. These are long term, process oriented, closed groups for women who are working on personal growth related to issues of relationship, self esteem, depression, anxiety, loss and life transitions. There is a minimum 12 week commitment.
