I teach my clients skills for coping and self soothing in the first session. I aim for GETTING better rather than just feeling better. That's why understanding why our mental health started to decline so important - it could be trauma, messaging in childhood, attachment issues, environmental factors, systemic issues, & so much more. I'm here to peel the onion back with you in a judgement free zone, sprinkled with some humor and lots of self-compassion & evidenced based treatment! It doesn't have to be scary!
I'm certified in 4 evidenced-based modalities for PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, & related issues. I also have several mind-body connection techniques that include breath work, body scanning, tapping, guided meditations & other tricks for calming a racing mind or body. I know relaxation is crucial for your mental & physical health. It's possible to just "be!"
