Why, despite good intentions, do you repeat something that isn't good for you? How can you learn compassion for yourself & others, instead of judging or shaming? How can you recognize your fear of risk? Psychotherapy is a place to explore what needs to happen so you feel mastery. I'll work with you to gain awareness & see alternatives. My specialty is understanding & connecting with people. I'll help you recognize the contexts in which you live. When you find your own language, individualize emotions & develop a sense of calm, you'll see the true nature of your experience. Therapy illuminates what we avoid & what attracts us.
I offer adult ADHD evaluations. Undiagnosed attention deficit hyperactivity disorder can make you space out; forget the task at hand; or get overwhelmed with directions. Medication & therapy can help. The first step is professional diagnosis. I use four assessments, & testing in my office takes an hour. Later, I provide documentation so you can move forward.
