About
Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to visit. I am a licensed psychologist and trained in healing trauma through client centered resources. This includes healing experiences of medical trauma, physical/emotional abuse, addiction, or family disconnection. If you have struggled with these issues, or are merely wanting to heal from recent stressors or loss, I would be honored to serve you. Ultimately I strive to help you find resources for healing psychological wounds and build skills/resilience in moving forward.
In beginning therapy with you, I honor the fact that you have a unique life history. It can be helpful to explore life events that have been positive and rich for you, vs. ones causing long term hardship. From there, we can develop a treatment plan that builds on the good, and rebuilds resources for what may have felt lost, or traumatically taken.
I am honored to help clients find hope and quality of life again, in spite of historical wounds. Although each client may benefit from unique therapies (for example, ACT, EMDR, or Self Compassion Training), the treatment plan is based on your values, needs, symptoms, and belief system. My goal in serving you is to meet you exactly where you are.
