Therapy with your partner will explore the essential aspects of being in a relationship. If you are experiencing couples’ burnout or any other difficult situation with your partner, just know that in relationships there are times that are difficult and challenging which can open up feelings of numbness, grief, anger, helplessness, sadness and intense stress. I will help you create a sense of understanding and to learn how to talk and be with each other in a different way. To be able to see and listen and enjoy each other again. At this time I am only seeing couples, couples on the brink of divorce and families with adult children.
I am an Integrative Couples Therapist, meaning, I align therapeutic techniques that are proven to be effective to your specific relational issue and recognizing that there is no single method that is superior for each and every situation. Using psychoanalytic couples theory, Gottman, PESI (neurobiology) and EFT (emotionally focused therapy).
I work with a diversity of identities and relationship styles. For couples 60+, I offer a safe space to explore this developmental stage and to understand what it means to your relationship. To develop a sense of renewal and clarity. Life does not have to be a series of problems to be solved but instead, a wonderous journey to be passionately embraced.
