As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, with a compassionate heart and a dedicated spirit, I provide a safe and supportive environment for you to share your deepest thoughts, feelings, and behaviors of concern. With over 10 years in the field of psychotherapy, and earlier experience as a school counselor, I specialize in helping individuals of all ages overcome anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. I am particularly interested in helping couples resolve their conflicts and learn to communicate lovingly and effectively, so as to model this behavior to their entire family.
Additional specialties include pre-marital and marriage counseling, family therapy, parenting, children and adolescent therapy, older adults and elder issues, and bereavement and loss. I am completely bilingual (Spanish/English) and bicultural. Having grown up in Mexico, I have a deep understanding of Latino and Hispanic life and culture.
