About
WAITLIST--JUNE OPENINGS. EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS--TELEHEALTH, ANYWHERE IN NC. As a queer cisgender woman, I specialize in working with college-aged teens, adults, and seniors, and especially the LGBTQ+ communities. In our work together, I pull from a variety of trauma-informed, feminist, and narrative therapeutic techniques to address your concerns, identify your goals, and help you create lasting change. My goal is to provide you with a safe and affirming space in which you feel truly seen and heard, identify and build upon your strengths, and create goals and a plan to achieve them.
We live in a complex web of oppressive, racist, hetero-normative, and cis-normative systems that can be harmful, and often lie at the root of our concerns. Together we will explore how these systems affect us, and how we can grow despite them. I specialize in helping navigate anxiety, sexuality and gender identity, religious trauma, relationships, and more.
As a queer therapist, I understand the importance of community and being truly known. And as a human being, I know the importance of laughter--I promise we'll do plenty of that! Every relationship I build with my clients teaches me so much, and I'm grateful to share in part of your journey. I look forward to hearing your story!
