For peace of mind and enhanced quality of life, approaches that I use in Therapy and Life Skills Coaching, recognize that everyone is unique and each has within themselves resources for achieving their goals. Changing from their current situation is facilitated by using particular skills tailored for them, their situation, and the results they seek. I teach people Customized Life Skills, that connect with their innate capabilities, to make the changes they need to accomplish their goals. My practice is focused on helping individuals to overcome life's challenges, experience more happiness, and better manage their lives for fulfillment and success.
Assistance I offer deals with anxieties and/or depressive symptoms; problems in relationships; issues at home or in the workplace; and difficulties with life transitions. I also help people enhance communication and social skills; develop meaningful relationships; and strengthen teamwork for reaching new levels of personal and professional satisfaction.
I have helped adolescents, adults, couples and families for over 20 years; taught at the NYU Graduate School of Social Work; and supervised Clinical Social Workers, as part of their requirement for working under supervision to obtain state licenses (Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW).
