It's an honor to me when a child chooses to trust me with their wishes, their fears, and their wonders about life. I have experience working with children individually, in hospitals, and through non-profit work in the community. Through the use of play and arts based therapies, I help to facilitate an environment where children are able to truly be themselves, express their emotions, and have the ability to create the answers they need for themselves.
I hold a unique set of abilities that I have come by through advanced learning and training as well as my own creative development. I use person centered and strength based strategies along with cognitive behavioral therapy at times, to find creative ways to help children and their families solve their problems.
In addition to being a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), I am also a Registered Play Therapist (RPT).
