My experience over the past 20+ years has been in helping people cope and grow as a result of painful, confusing, conflict-filled or frightening patterns and/or life experiences. I am gentle and respectful and provide a safe and supportive environment that ensures emotional safety. In light of the the pandemic, I'm offering virtual, video-conference sessions over a HIPPA-compliant, online meeting site, Doxy.
I work with adults individually, in coupled relationships, and within the family context. I have experience working with women and men who experienced childhood trauma in the form of abuse, neglect, parental substance abuse. I work with addiction and compulsive behaviors.
The reward of therapeutic engagement is the sense of an enriched life. Appreciating life more fully, enjoying life more fully, having a greater scope of understanding of oneself and others, forming new friendships and relationships are some of these rewards.
