About
I work with female clients, 13yrs and older. As women, young and old, we are multitaskers, we take care of others while neglecting ourselves. Self-care--self-love is foreign. Many self-medicate with food, alcohol, pills, shopping, social media, vaping, relationships, the list can go on. This creates a cycle of shame, remorse, and regret. We realize... I am not happy-how come? The women I work with are trying to answer that question. They are looking for someone else or something else to make them happy. An external fix/distraction to avoid feeling upset. And yet the outcome continues to be is anxiety, depression, substance abuse
I will help you focus on the underlying issues that are creating the negative cycles in your life. Most of this stems from childhood wounds, parents make mistakes. You are not crazy, you are not alone. I will compassionately hold up the mirror so you can see what is not working and we can get to unearthing the trauma/feelings, healing from the wounds .
I have been in private practice for 18 years & prior worked at many facilities, including Today Inc, Livengrin Foundation & Eastern PA Psychiatric Hospital. More relevant is my own personal journey with bulimia, co-dependency, multiple addictions, infertility, depression &low self esteem. My hope is to support the healing wounds that hinder happiness

How do I take care of myself/deal with stress?
We will identify what drives women to do so much. Explore our thoughts(+ and -) about ourselves. We will discuss fear based beliefs that cause negative feelings, and in the end, ignite patterns that are not working in our lives. We will be solution focused in finding new healthier ways of dealing with life's stressors.
