Greetings to everyone! My name is Mary Jo Hoard and my entire professional career of over forty-five years has been devoted to providing therapy in the mental health field as a therapist, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Helping adults, couples and families in a virtual setting to realize therapy goals comes with a genuine desire to give my all to the therapeutic process. I am most effective helping clients to manage affective disorders, relational challenges and other situational stresses. Most prospective clients find working with an experienced therapist is of some value along with a commitment to work together for change.
As a clinician I focus on helping clients with a variety of mental health challenges to engage in both cognitive and behavioral changes, reflection, increased insight and solution-focused strategies. I am a believer in treating the whole person which takes into account the many facets of my client's life contributing to current issues.
