Through my experience, I have come to learn that counseling is most beneficial when possibilities of hope, healing, and action are developed through meaningful conversations. My focus is on helping clients manage their distressful symptoms, identify learned patterns and unhelpful ways of thinking, rewire their brains, reprocess trauma, and access their strengths to use as leverage to work through their upsetting events, fears, anxiety, and blindspots.
I use an integrative combination of brain and body-based methods (CBT, Trauma Informed Care, and Mindfulness) that research has shown to be effective. In addition, I'll help you reach your goals by participating in conversations that open up possibilities, new meanings, and ideas to help you find your own way forward when advice alone isn't enough.
