One of my beliefs is that people cannot truly love, or allow themselves to be loved in return, if we do not first find a way to love ourselves. Fundamentally, we can become wounded because of relationships, which in-turn, adversely affect how we interpret our own meaning and attachment to the world and others. However, as we grow in awareness and care for self, we can begin to heal in relationships just the same. This is accomplished by working through those past wounds which tend to manifest in and become the present behaviors and intentions that harm us and others.
I want to sit alongside you as you unpack your wounds and allow a space that comes with unconditional positive regard, warmth, and safety. Come as you are. I believe that to be able to sit in a room with another human being, and allow oneself to be truly known, and still accepted and cared for, is a large part of why I became a therapist.
I am currently doing telehealth sessions, but ask me about home therapy as well if you would like a face to face session and are in Ellis County, TX! I work with adults, couples, and families.
