I work with adults of all ages, couples, adolescent, and families who are having trouble in their lives with relationships, struggling with daily life, and need someone to help guide them. It is my belief that there is an opportunity for everyone to thrive and to remain connected with others in the process. My approach is to first get to know you in order to build a strong therapeutic relationship. Once that is established, we then work on a common goal to help improve your daily functioning. I will collaborate with you to assure that the treatment you are getting is what you are seeking.
I am skilled at working with individuals who are suffering from Severe and Persistent Mental Illness, Depression, Anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and Adjustment issues. I particularly enjoy working with adolescents, at risk youth, and adults.
Something that is unique to me, is that I worked at a Juvenile Hall for many years. This particular facility held adolescents being tried as adults. My experience taught me that no matter how hopeless a situation or person feels, there is always a way to make life more manageable.
