Are you overwhelmed with life, depressed, feeling "not good enough" or facing a difficult life transition? I will help you understand the thoughts and feelings that keep you stuck in unhealthy, non-productive patterns. Together we will focus on working through challenging emotions, in order for you to let go and move forward with life. I will support your process in a nurturing, non-judgmental manner.
I have training in psychodrama and experiential therapy. These methods allow for the use of role plays and visualizations. Such techniques increase your ability to get more deeply in touch with your issues. When you reenact what happens at home, in the safety of therapy, solutions become clear and your voice becomes strong.
I see a wide variety of clients. Adults make up the majority of my practice. Having spent 8 years in schools, I also enjoy working with adolescents on academic, social and self-esteem issues. In addition, I have worked in assisted living facilities for 10 years, and enjoy helping the elderly.
