I started out in the field of counseling working with adolescents; a population that I enjoy working with. As I progressed in my profession I began to include working with women's issues such as domestic violence, sexual abuse and sexual assault. I also moved into working with couples that includes marital conflict and issues of communication. I also am a certified mediator which I implement in my work with couples. I have been in the field of counseling for almost 20 years and have also seen clients with issues of anxiety, depression and addiction and the worried well. I also do trauma focused therapy.

My areas of specialty include: communication skills, mediation skills, substance/addiction issues, anxiety, depression, couples, and adolescent. I focus on communication skills with couples and work with adolescents to help them improve their problem solving skills.
