I honor the decision to seek counseling and am highly committed to helping each individual discover their own internal strengths and resources. With over 20 years of experience in the health field, first as an occupational therapist, and then as a clinical psychologist. I integrate a variety of effective change strategies including Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), Emotional Awareness and Expressive therapy (EAET), cognitive-behavioral, and psychodynamic. I also utilize a range of treatment modalities, such as Mindfulness, Lifespan Integration, EMDR, and insight-oriented.
I have expertise in dealing with problems specific to illness, chronic pain, depression, grief and, anxiety. I also have training in treating individuals with chronic pain from Drs. John Sarno and Howard Schubiner, as well as advanced training in Pain Reprocessing Therapy. I offer telehealth psychotherapy sessions and coaching.
I am highly experienced in working with adults and adolescents. I also have expertise in assisting people who are going through major transitions, and those dealing with medical issues, disabilities and stress-related conditions such as neuroplastic pain & TMS. I am passionate about assisting each individual with living life more fully and completely.
