I am a holistic, empathic, client centered counselor with multiple methods to assist folks in recovery from issues that have affected their ability to function in wholeness. My therapy styles include Energy work, clinical hypnotherapy, EMDR, experiential and talk therapy. I support and endorse alternative healing methods along with counseling and I do not believe that medication is always the right choice for everyone. The overarching attributes that I use with my clients are authenticity, thinking outside the box, insight, candor, and humor.
The underlying cause of most distress is due to unresolved trauma and childhood emotional injuries. Most folks struggle with the shadows of their past in one way or another. My goal is to help shine a light into the shadows to identify the wounds and bring healing. I specialize in trauma, dissociation and other disorders related to PTSD and CPTSD.
My hope is that folks walk away from the counseling experience with their spirits, lives, hearts, and minds restored and ready to experience all the joy life has to offer. I have morning, afternoon, and early evening appointments Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Some special scheduling is available.I am licensed in TX, MI, SD, MT, WY, and AZ.
